Sin City to host largest electronic music festival
by Yvonne Gonzalez
The biggest electronic music festival in North America finally announced the location for this year’s Electric Daisy.
Not too far from the Las Vegas strip, the Electric Daisy Concert (EDC) will be at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway with six massive stages, carnival rides, art installations, and plenty more to thrill the crowds.
This year’s festival has also been extended from a two day event to a three day weekend which has been set for June 24 through June 26. A festival that started in the heart of Los Angeles has attracted more than 100,000 individuals every year.
It is no surprise that Insomniac, the organizer, still continues to grow and create music events for electronic fans across the globe.
If the new location is not convincing enough for musical festival junkies, EDC Las Vegas has also announced the headliners plus over 200 artists that are scheduled to perform at this year’s EDC Las Vegas. The world renowned Dutch artist DJ Tiesto will open the festival on Friday. Pop sensation David Guetta will continue the following night and finally, the Swedish House Mafia will close the three day event on Sunday.
This year’s EDC will be an all-night extravaganza operating from dusk to dawn. Also, new regulations have been added to the music carnival. Those under 18 will be prohibited from entering and must be older than 21 to drink with valid identification.
Experience the sounds of the best DJs across the world as they play their hearts out; or interact with the wide range of perfomers that will appear on festival grounds throughout the entire night.
No matter how high expectations are held, Insomniac is sure to live up to them, presenting a memorable night and dedicating themselves to providing a safe environment.
Witness the transformation of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway turning into an amusement park full of freaks, clowns, and much much more in Sin City.
