The Measure B Bond provides the resourses for new buildings at CODby Michael Gonzalez
There will be six construction projects at Palm Desert that will update the Child Development Center (CDC) and the Athletics building among others. The projects will start after the architects and fire marshalls review and finalize the plans for each project.
Some of the current school departments that will be updated are Stagecraft, the CDC, and Athletic buildings. Other new buildings are going to be Applied Sciences, Visual Arts, and the Central Campus. The Central campus will include the Liberal Arts, Courtyard, Administration, and the old Admissions & Records building.
Measure B Bond will pay for the projects with a total cost of over $32 million. The projects range from $one million to $21 million.
Bidding for contractors will begin this winter for the Athletics and Visual Arts buildings.
