The 2014 spring semester is under way and there are plenty of sports to follow and cheer.  Men’s and women’s basketball are just finishing up this month with only a few games left to go. The men’s team is 2-20 so far this season and is trying to end the year on a high note with some wins to build momentum for next season. The women’s basketball team is 10-13 so far on the season and is looking to go above .500 by the end of the season.

Its spring and that means baseball and softball are in full swing, no pun intended! The men’s baseball team will be looking to have a winning season after going only 15-20 last year. The women’s softball team is looking to defend their title and win its 3rd straight Foothill Conference Championship, good luck ladies!

Spring also marks the start of men’s and women’s tennis, the men’s team is looking to get its 15th State Title, the last one coming in 2011. The women’s tennis team looks to have a great season and win its Conference Championship  and hopefully even a State Championship.

Finally there is the men’s golf team who are going for their unprecedented 27th straight Conference Title and looking to be State Champions again, last title coming in 2012.

We have a plethora of exciting sports to look forward to this spring, many of which have  Conference and State Championships on the line. All that is needed is student support to help cheer your favorite athletes on to victory. All schedules to all the sports for the spring semester can be found on the COD home website under the events calendar:
