Pop singer Dev performed live at Costas nightclub inside the J.W. Marriott hotel on Nov. 11, to promote her beat-filled and catchy new single “#1” featuring Bay Area rapper, Neff the Pharaoh. The event was presented by local radio station, U92.7 FM, who gave 10 lucky listeners and a guest the opportunity to get turned up with Dev and 92.7 radio personality, Bianca, backstage at a meet and greet before the show.

The event kicked off at 9:00 p.m. as Los Angeles DJ, Bella Fiasco got the party started. Fans flooded inside for Dev and to take advantage of the free admission offered until 10:00 p.m. and the cocktail specials served until last call. As club-goers hit the dance floor Bella warmed them up with a hip-hop set blended with a variety of top 40 favorites that drew more dancers to the floor.

Meanwhile backstage, another party was underway for the winners who patiently waited to meet Dev. The singer had a playful and good attitude with fans as they took pictures and silly selfies with her throughout the meeting, making it a memorable experience.

Once everyone was escorted back to the club, Dev was ready to give the audience the show they came for. With Bianca doing the honors of introducing her, she finally took to the stage to perform to a room full of fans. With the crowd wrapped up in her stage presence, she sang familiar hits like, “Dancing in the Dark” and “Base Down Low.” When everyone heard the beat to “Like a G6” drop, the top 10 hit song by hip-hop group Far East Movement she was featured on in 2010, the crowd went wild and the phones came out to record her in action. Before jumping into the lyrics Dev encouraged fans to sing out-loud to the track and especially get some bottles poppin’ to make them feel so, “fly like a G6” (the fastest civil aircraft ever made).

Dev delivered and kept the energy flowing throughout her performance with DJ Bella taking over again after she left the stage. Overall the event was a success for the performers and the club.
