On Nov. 7, 2016a new show on TV channel VH1 aired featuring television personality, Martha Stewart, and rapper, Snoop Dogg. One may wonder how two different personas ended up with their own show. The two are an unlikely pair, but share a unique friendship. Both characters are now a part of a new series called “Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner”.

“I’m not high right now, but whoever gave us this show, they must have been,” said Snoop Dogg, during the introduction of the show.

It is a live-audience cooking show that incorporates some of their famous friends. On the first episode, Martha and Snoop both compete over who can cook the best fried chicken. Both jokes and alcoholic beverages are made (recipes included). Seth Rogen, Ice Cube, Wiz Khalifa, and Anderson Paak join the fun and food, kicking off the show’s premiere. Actor Seth Rogen is Snoop’s cooking assistant, while artist Wiz Khalifa gives Martha Stewart a helping hand during the competition. The show will continue to host new celebrity guests on each episode.

The show airs Mondays at 7 p.m. PST.
