A glimpse of the 2017 Grammy nominations

On Dec. 6, the 2017 Grammy nominations were announced. This marks the 59th annual Grammy awards ceremony. Artist Beyoncé Knowles, is up for nine Grammy nominations for her 2016 visual album Lemonade, making her one of the leading nominees, along with artist Adele. 

According to Billboard.com, some of general categories and their nominees are as followed:

Album Of The Year:

“25” by Adele

“Lemonade” by Beyoncé

“Purpose” by Justin Bieber

“Views” by Drake

“A Sailor’s Guide To Earth” by Sturgill Simpson

Record Of The Year:

“Hello” by Adele

“Formation” by Beyoncé

“7 Years” by Lukas Graham

“Work” by Rihanna Featuring Drake

“Stressed Out” by Twenty One Pilots

Best New Artist:

Kelsea Ballerini

The Chainsmokers

Chance The Rapper

Maren Morris

Anderson .Paak
