For 14 seasons business tycoon Donald Trump, hired and fired dozens of unknown business persons and celebrities in his boardroom. One-by-one and week-by-week the selected hopefuls competed by executing tasks that tested their business and organizational skills. In the end only one hopeful landed a sweet one-year $250,000 starting contract opportunity to run one of Trump’s companies or one celebrity won a cash prize to donate to the charitable organization of their choice.

Now that President-elect Trump will be running the U.S. this January, instead of the boardroom, a new bossman is taking charge and will be calling all the shots. Season 8 of “The Celebrity Apprentice” will be hosted by Arnold Schwarzenegger and will be filmed in Los Angeles. He’s been many things throughout his life, now he can add reality show boss to his professional resume.

Past celebrity contestants for each season consisted of singers and musicians, professional athletes, actors and comedians such as Gene Simmons, Tom Green, Cyndi Lauper, Lil Jon, Lou Ferrigno, Vivica A. Fox and Eric Dickerson.

Trump may be preparing for his commander in chief role but he will definitely remain credited as the show’s executive producer. ¬†The new season of “The Celebrity Apprentice” will premiere Jan. 2, and will air Monday’s on NBC at 8:00 p.m PST.
