This year’s Club Rush at College of the Desert presents over 27 clubs and loads of opportunities for students.

Club Rush is the first chance students have to learn about the variety of opportunities and groups offered at COD. It is a college tradition that introduces students, especially new students, to the clubs and causes that they can be involved in.

The two-day event took place on campus in the amphitheater on Feb. 5 and Feb. 6. The lively environment was filled with music, color, and excited energy. Clubs set up booths where students could learn more, ask questions, and join if interested. Every booth contained something special. For example, candy, pizza, games, and photo booths. Most of all, each club presents the opportunity to be a part of something more. Some of the clubs attending included 3D Printing, KCOD, Danza, Fostering Knowledge, Desert Cru, International Club, Bio Club, Mesa Club, and Retroact were just some of the clubs spotted.

You can catch the next Club Rush in the Amphitheater next semester; however, it’s not too late to get involved. Find the complete list of students clubs at  COD Student Life.

Students interested in starting their own club can learn more at ASCOD or online at the College of the Desert website.
