’Tis the season to take lots of pictures with family and friends. With the Coachella Valley being a hot spot for photo opportunities, sure enough there are several places with Christmas themes to take some great holiday photos.

Starting with Palm Desert, the Living Desert hosts their 25th annual “Wild Lights”. This event starts Nov. 24 and goes all the way through till Dec. 24. It is open from 6pm to 9pm. Also, in Palm Desert, El Paseo always has very festive decorations this time of year. As you’re Christmas shopping, don’t forget to snap a pic.

As for Palm Springs, the Palm Springs tramway has put up their Christmas tree and lights to get ready for people to come enjoy the snow and the view of the Coachella Valley. The Palm Springs tram puts up an enormous Christmas tree just made out of lights and when the sun goes down, you are sure to see it light up whether you’re at the bottom or top of the tram. Also, in Palm Springs, Robolights is celebrating 31 years of Christmas decorations made out of junk donated from friends, family and neighbors.

Cathedral City’s most popular holiday spot is “Candy Cane Lane”. Located on Minerva Road, this street is decorated with exquisite Christmas decorations and lights every where. This is an amazing street to take some great holiday photos.

In La Quinta, the La Quinta Resort puts up a beautiful Christmas tree that is perfect for a nice Christmas card picture with the family. Old Town La Quinta, Cathedral City, Palm Springs, Desert Hot Springs, Coachella and Indio also puts up Christmas trees for the public. They are normally located at your city’s town hall.

This year, you are now sure enough to get some great holiday pictures with friends and family or for your friends and family.
